*this fabric's texture was pleated and heat set by hand. to ensure permanence of fabric texture, it is best to store the skirt in its own box (such as a hat box), twisted and rolled around itself, like this. the skirt should not be stored on a hanger or folded underneath any additional clothing so that the pleats do not get crushed in storage.
